When it comes to glamour, luxury, and opulence, no era is etched more vividly in our collective imagination than the 1920s—a time of spectacular Art Deco parties, shimmering attire, champagne flowing endlessly, and the romantic yet illusory figure of Jay Gatsby. While The Great Gatsby by Baz Luhrmann is a visual feast in its own right, we never quite get to see a Christmas scene within the film.
And so, La Maison Chouette travels back in time, drawing inspiration from Gatsby’s legendary soirées and his timeless love story to create this Christmas tree. Dressed in the signature gold-and-black palette of Art Deco, it is accented with champagne bottles, gem-encrusted jewelry, and pearls—echoing the elegance and allure of Daisy, the woman who kept Gatsby forever chasing his golden dream.
