Founded in 1643 during the reign of King Louis XIV, Trudon is the oldest wax manufacturer in the world still in operation today. In the 17th century, Trudon was appointed as the Royal Wax Manufacturer, becoming the official supplier to the French court and Emperor Napoleon I.

Throughout the centuries, Trudon has continuously innovated to stay in tune with the times. In 1889, the brand was honored with the Gold Medal for Arts at the Exposition Universelle in Paris and has since received numerous prestigious awards for its masterful craftsmanship, perfected over generations.

In recent decades, Trudon has made its mark with a distinctive range of scented candles, created in collaboration with renowned perfumers. In partnership with RMN (France’s National Museum Council), the brand has also released limited-edition colored wax collections. In 2017, inspired by the word “wax,” Trudon expanded its expertise and officially launched a line of fragrances for both men and women.
